Galactic Gorilla Corps Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are between you and SYNTHETIC REALITY SAC, which provides Galactic Gorilla Corps (“GGC”) under the OSYRYS brand (“OSYRYS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to GGC, its online features, official GGC community spaces, updates, and digital items (together, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, or selecting an Accept button when one is shown, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

1. Who May Play

You must be at least 13 years old to use GGC. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must allow your use, review these Terms with you, and supervise your play. You may not lie about your age or use someone else’s account to bypass age, safety, or platform restrictions.

You need a valid Meta account and compatible device. You are responsible for protecting your account and for activity you knowingly allow through it. Do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your account.

2. Your License to Play

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GGC for your own non-commercial entertainment, except for gameplay videos and streams permitted by Section 6, while you follow these Terms. GGC, its software, characters, artwork, audio, names, and other OSYRYS content remain owned by us or our licensors. The game is licensed, not sold.

Do not copy, sell, distribute, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit GGC except for creator content permitted by Section 6 or where applicable law expressly allows it. If you voluntarily send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment to you.

3. Player Safety Rules

GGC is a fun roleplay game about gorillas fighting alien bugs. Energetic, competitive, and in-character play is welcome. Roleplay never excuses targeting or endangering a real person.

These rules apply to voice, gestures, usernames, avatars, gameplay, reports, and official GGC community spaces. You must not:

Sexualize, groom, or seek private contact. No sexual content, sexual noises directed at others, sexual questions or requests, grooming, exploitation, or requests for intimate images. Adults must not seek private, secret, romantic, sexual, or off-platform contact with minors or ask a minor to hide an interaction from a parent or trusted adult.
Seek or expose personal information. Do not ask for or share a player’s real name, age or date of birth, home address, school, precise location, phone number, email, passwords, real-world photos or videos, or personal social-media details. Do not pressure anyone to move to private or off-platform chat, meet offline, or send money, gifts, or images.
Harass or threaten people. No bullying, stalking, intimidation, humiliation, credible threats, encouraging self-harm or violence, or repeatedly targeting someone who wants the interaction to stop.
Use hate or discriminatory abuse. No slurs, hateful conduct, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or another protected characteristic.
Impersonate, deceive, or exploit. Do not impersonate OSYRYS staff, moderators, another player, or an authority; scam players; steal credentials; manipulate purchases; coerce anyone; or send malicious links or files.
Abuse recordings or streams. Do not use recordings or streams to violate another player’s safety or privacy. Section 6 explains allowed creator content.
Cheat or disrupt the game. No bots, exploits, unauthorized mods, injectors, automation, abusive multiple accounts, griefing, deliberate service disruption, or attempts to access accounts, systems, or data without permission.
Undermine safety tools. Do not disable, evade, probe, or interfere with moderation, reporting, blocking, muting, security, or anti-cheat tools. Do not submit knowingly false reports, manipulate evidence, retaliate against a reporter, or evade a warning, restriction, suspension, or ban.
Promote or arrange illegal activity. Do not use GGC to plan, request, teach, encourage, advertise, or facilitate real-world illegal activity, or discuss it in a way that enables or glorifies real-world harm. Do not share illegal content or help another person violate these Terms. Fictional monkey-versus-bugs roleplay is not real-world illegal activity.

4. Voice Chat and Staying Safe

Live voice chat is part of the GGC experience. It also means strangers can hear what you say. Never reveal personal information in voice chat. Other players may record, stream, and share ordinary gameplay, including voice heard during a session, for content on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and similar services, subject to Section 6.

Use available mute, block, leave, and report tools when an interaction becomes uncomfortable or unsafe. Reports must be truthful and should include useful context. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact a trusted adult or the appropriate emergency service; an in-game report is not an emergency service.

If you suspect grooming, sexual exploitation, or a credible threat, stop engaging and report it. Do not conduct your own investigation.

We work to make GGC safer, but we cannot review every conversation, perform background checks on players, guarantee that every user is who they claim to be, or prevent every instance of misconduct. Parents and guardians should supervise teen players and review their platform privacy and safety settings.

Providing reports, moderation, or safety tools does not mean we have reviewed, verified, or approved any player or interaction.

If we later enable temporary voice clips for safeguarding, we will first update the Privacy Policy to explain how that feature works.

5. Reports and Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and use warnings, content removal, mutes, feature restrictions, progress or item corrections, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. We may act immediately and without advance notice when we reasonably believe action is needed to protect a person, stop serious misconduct, preserve evidence, secure the Services, address cheating or fraud, or comply with a platform or legal requirement.

Enforcement depends on factors such as severity, context, available evidence, prior conduct, and risk to users. We do not have to use lesser penalties before a suspension or ban. We may preserve relevant records and share a serious safety matter with Meta, a service provider, an appropriate child-safety organization, or appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary to protect someone or comply with law.

You may appeal a material enforcement action by emailing hello@syry.io with your Meta user ID, the action you are appealing, and relevant context. An appeal does not pause an urgent safety restriction. Ban evasion is a separate violation.

You remain responsible for content you deliberately submit, including reports, messages, images, clips, and community posts. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, review, modify, and share submitted content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, support, or improve the Services, or preserve evidence. Ordinary live voice chat is not licensed to us for advertising merely because it passes through the Services.

You may record, stream, and share your own ordinary gameplay, including other players’ voices as heard during the session, on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and similar services. Standard platform monetization is allowed. By using public or shared GGC voice chat, you understand and agree that other players may include your voice as part of ordinary gameplay content.

This permission does not allow anyone to isolate or reuse another player’s voice for impersonation or voice cloning, disclose personal information, target someone for sexualization, stalking, harassment, or exploitation, imply OSYRYS endorsement, or expose confidential or unreleased material. If a recording accidentally captures personal information, remove or mute that part before publishing.

Creators remain responsible for following applicable law, platform rules, these Terms, and any rights that OSYRYS cannot grant on another person’s behalf. Player-created recordings are not reviewed or endorsed by OSYRYS.

7. Purchases and Digital Items

Meta or another applicable platform processes purchases and controls its payment and refund process. Digital currency and items are licensed for use inside GGC; they have no cash value, are not property, and may not be sold or transferred unless GGC expressly allows it.

We may correct, change, suspend, or remove digital items or balances to address errors, fraud, cheating, legal requirements, game balance, or changes to the Services. Refunds are governed by the applicable platform’s rules and any rights that cannot legally be limited. A suspension or ban does not itself create a right to a refund.

8. Updates, Availability, and Termination

We may update, balance, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features, content, digital items, or the Services. We do not promise that GGC will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or future platform version.

You may stop using GGC at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, create a safety or security risk, or if we discontinue the Services. Sections that logically need to continue, including ownership, enforcement records, disclaimers, liability limits, and responsibility for misuse, remain effective after access ends.

9. VR and Third-Party Services

Use a clear play area, follow device safety instructions, take breaks, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, nausea, disorientation, or other discomfort. You are responsible for using your headset and physical space safely.

GGC may rely on services provided by Meta, Unity, Photon, and other providers. Their services and accounts are governed by their own terms and may become unavailable or change independently of us.

10. Disclaimers and Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect security, error-free software, particular results, or that every player will follow these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OSYRYS, SYNTHETIC REALITY SAC, and their personnel and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from the Services, including losses caused by another player’s conduct. For claims that may lawfully be limited, our total liability will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid directly for GGC during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11. Your Responsibility and General Terms

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable losses, claims, and costs caused by your unlawful content, intentional misuse of the Services, violation of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms.

If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains effective. Our failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms or your license; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, or sale of the relevant business or assets.

We may update these Terms for safety, legal, security, platform, or service reasons. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide appropriate notice before a material change takes effect. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the Services.
